Kiyomizu-dera Temple


"Kiyomizu-dera Temple (Japanese: 清水寺)" is a Buddhist temple and it is told that Kiyomizu-dera Temple was created by Enchin (延鎮, He was Monk) in 778 of the Nara period. Fully name is "Otowa-san Kiyomizu-dera". Kiyomizu-dera Temple was registered in World Heritage as "Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto" in 1994.
The public transportation facility to Kiyomizu-dera Temple is "Kyoto City bus (京都市バス, Kyoto shi basu)" and Keihan Electric Railway (京阪電車, Keihan Densha). Kiyomizu-dera Temple is from the JR Kyoto Station (No. 206 or 100 bus) to about 10 minutes and 10 minutes on foot, from the Kawara-machi (No. 207 bus) to about 15 minutes and 10 minutes on foot, from the Gojo station, Keihan main line, Keihan Electric Railway to 25 minutes on foot.
